About Flora Farms
What would you do if you had the chance to spend an entire day in the company of trees, flowers, and herbs? Now imagine that you could do it every day.
Flora Farms is a unique restaurant located on the outskirts of Los Cabos, Mexico, where visitors can spend time with nature while also enjoying locally grown, organic products. A true farm-to-table pioneer!
A while ago, tourists and locals coming to San José del Cabo started to notice this emerging place, and the rest is history.
As per my own experience, I genuinely recommend coming here during your Cabo trip and bringing all your family or friends around to enjoy the garden tours, cooking workshops, culinary seminars, and much more!
The Beginning of Flora Farms
Everything started in 1996, when the current owners, Gloria Wallace and her husband Patrick, found this beautiful space in the foothills of San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.
They had the vision to create a sustainable farm that would not only provide fresh produce for their local community but also offer an unforgettable experience for all who visit.
And let me tell you, they have succeeded!
Today, Flora Farms is a world-renowned restaurant and farm that attracts visitors from all over the globe, extending this business to new horizons.
The property spans 25 acres and includes:
- An organic vegetable garden.
- Fruit orchards.
- Spa services.
- Real estate properties communities.
- A fantastic wedding venue (also suitable for any grand celebration).
If you are a big fan of Maroon5, you’ll love to know that Adam Levine’s wedding was hosted by this beautiful and unique venue.
The Flora Farms’ Project
When visiting this fabulous place, it comes to be evident that its mission is to create a better world by connecting people with nature.
What can be a more effective to achieve this goal than to expose travelers to beautiful garden tours and activities guided by local experts?
To Flora Farms, knowledge is key! They truly believe that preserving biodiversity is prior to keeping a healthy and thriving ecosystem.
Bringing its clients closer to sustainable practices and nature-driven experiences is one of the priorities of this place, as they also believe how important is this for future generations.
And personally, I think it’s easier for us to understand why we should care about the environment once we see with our own eyes how fragile it is.
Perhaps a cooking class is the first step in our journey to understand how easy it can be to make dietary changes that will benefit our health and preserve our beautiful planet at the same time.
